I'm planning a blog tour thru each of the 50 states - "Travel the US! No Gas Required!". It involves designing a new license plate for your state, writing instructions for making it, blogging about it with a fabric giveaway (we'll provide) and then selling your block pattern (or offering as a free download). <br /><br />Few things to help you envision:<br />- License plates are 12” W x 6” H, so that’s the size of everyone’s finished block. I’d want you to send me an unfinished block (12 ½” x 6 ½”) to make into a full 50 state show quilt.<br />- You can use whatever technique & tools you’d like but would need to use our cottons. I have read about doing that to prevent a curvature from forming. Perhaps your pressing guidelines in the next post prevent that. Thoughts?
