This quilt was pieced by Molly Evangilisti and quilted by Carla Barrett. It was designed by Arlene and Melissa at The Quilt Company. You can read more about it on Carla's Blog: Feathered Fibers.

Carla Barrett of Feathered Fibers made this beautiful wall quilt with leftover blocks from a bigger project.

I sometimes have leftover blocks too, but 24? I don't think so! Haha. Nice job, Carla!

Carla also does awesome machine quilting and creates cartoons for quilters. Visit her blog.

Carla's Freeform Crochet Scarf Tutorial!

Doesn't this look like a lot of fun? Take a look at Carla Barrett's free tutorial on Feathered Fibers. I have a road trip in my near future and I think I'll make one of these. Don't worry, I won't crochet and drive at the same time. I can't wait to show you what comes of this!

Carla Barrett's Selvage Bowls

Take a look at this awesome selvage bowl by Carla Barrett. Try and "click to enlarge," and see her black thread zig-zagging. Carla plans to embellish this, but I have no idea how she'll do that. I like it "as is."
See her blog at: http://www.featheredfibers.wordpress.com/. (This link has been corrected.)

Shaggy Flowers from Feathered Fibers

Carla Barrett made these pretty tulips using selvages that were given to her by a friend who dyes her own fabrics. Carla has been using selvages for years. I like shaggy selvages, and these are definitely the shaggiest I've ever seen! And check out all the quilting on this postcard!
