Fabulous Selvage Bookshelf Quilt

I found this selvage bookcase quilt on Pinterest. I tried to find out who made it, but to no avail. If you know, please tell me. 

This quilt is hanging on a black curtain, probably at a quilt show. The outer edge of the quilt is brown. You can see a bit of the sign on the right. What a great job this quilter did with all those narrow selvages!

This amazing selvage bookcase quilt was made by Christine in France. It unfolds, a page at a time. Take a close look at the arrangements on the shelves. Katell wrote about this on her blog Quilteuse Forever. Christine used some of my selvages in her creations. 

I love how the Internet makes it possible to have quilting friends all over the world.

Carol's Selvage Bookshelf Quilt

Carol just made this fabulous selvage Bookshelf quilt. Originally she planned to give it to her sister who owns a bookstore, but she has decided to keep it and make a mug rug for her sister. She plans to loan it to her sister from time to time. That sounds like a good plan. The cameras and the plant are a nice touch.

Bookcase Quilt from the Netherlands is Finished!

Marquerite van Eijck of the Netherlands added some great applique to this wonderful selvage bookcase quilt, so I decided to show it to you again. I thought it looked great before, but she had other ideas. You know how quilters are! Isn't this a great quilt? Her selvages make very realistic books!
