Nifty Quilts

This is one of my favorite quilts! It was made by Nifty Quilts from Washington last year at a retreat in NYC that we both attended. Some of my scraps are in this quilt. I thought I was a marathon quilter, but she started before me in the morning, and was still going strong when I went to sleep! I want to make one of these.

Thank you, Karen! I love your scraps in this quilt. It holds memories of all of you. I hope you will make one soon. I'm sure it will be stunning, like all of your quilts!

I'm with you on that. I just pinned this and want to make it too! What a great way to use up scraps. And how fun that you shared fabrics and memories.

Me too I am busily cutting HST and collecting them from all kinds of fabrics.

She is making another one right now!

That quilt is gorgeous! My next cutting time will be to cut squares for making HST's. Nifty Quilts' quilt sure shows how important it is to use darks, mediums AND lights. Wow!

Love this quilt - I have a whole bunch of central american wovens that I think will work fabulously! Thanks for the inspiration!
