Strata Quilt by Lois Cox

Lois Cox in California was inspired by the World quilt that we made this year (see sidebar at right), so she cut her favorite novelty prints into 2" strips and made this "Strata Quilt." It measures 70" x 70." It has many of her favorite things: cheeseburgers, M+M's, Hershey Kisses, Hostess cupcakes, candy bars, Coca Cola, cats, and even some fabric from her mother who passed away nearly 30 years ago.

What a wonderful quilt to curl up with this winter! Great job, Lois!

What a darling quilt.

Such a great idea to use up some of our ever-growing stash fabrics.

Great idea and something I might just try to do before Christmas for someone special in my life.

Simply and sweet and just as cozy as the tough to piece quilts :0)
