Lynne's Round Selvage Pot-holders

Lynne in New Hampshire has a bad case of the selvage bug! She recently went fabric shopping with her sister who is also a quilter, and bought 38 FQs checking each one to make sure it was cut from the selvage side.

Lynne is trained as an artist and she's been sewing since the fifth grade. You will love her blog: http://www.patcherymenagerie.blogspot.com/. She found the tutorial for the round pot-holders at "An Sew On:" http://ansewon.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2009-02-22T12%3A58%3A00-05%3A00&max-results=7

This pretty pot-holder in Lynne's kitchen will be a constant reminder that she could be sewing rather than cooking. Makes sense to me. Nice job, Lynne.

  2. Oh my gosh I love that!!!! I undersstand the selvage need. I just bought an extra half yard of fabric because it would have cut the cute part of the selvage off to cut it at the yard mark.
