You already know that Anya writes on her selvage postcards. Here's how she does it: First she sews the selvage down using a straight stitch, then she programs her Bernina to stitch her message using the alphabet feature. So simple. What an ingenious idea!

Anya also just recently made a small bag from Lazy Girl Designs using selvages. It's so clever and cute.
ReplyDeleteThat's a really good idea if you have a fancy, expensive sewing machine. If you don't, maybe you could print something out in black and white on a piece of fabric meant for a printer. Cut up a strip and walah!
