Meet Maria Clara from Spain
Maria Clara from Spain made these selvage pin cushions. Aren't they nice? She used a tight little zig-zag stitch to secure the selvages, a good idea! I like that. Take a look at her blog:
These are cute...thanks for continuing to show us fun projects with selvages. I haven't gotten another selvage project done yet, but since I made my bag I have people giving them to me, so am amassing a nice collection!
Oh, I love these -
ReplyDeleteHave you ever seen a needle book done with selvages? I think I need to buy your book.

ReplyDeletethey are really cute - mixed in with other patterned materials!
ReplyDeleteThose are adorable and I like the little zigzag a lot! It adds even more interest.
ReplyDeleteYes, thanks for sharing all these great projects with us, it's so fun to see what everyone is making.
These are really quite lovely. I love that she used a satin stitch on the selvages.........it just ads that little extra "touch"
