Kerry Katie Cakes in Alberta, Canada made this pretty selvage pot-holder for a swap. She made one big square then cut it into fourths and put it together like this. She recommends cutting your selvages wide so the project goes faster. Makes sense to me. I had started a few but they were single squares - I really like the idea of cutting apart and rearranging!!
