This beautiful crazy quilt was made by a member of the Georgia Quilt Council as part of an exhibit in Savannah, GA that happened about 4 years ago. This isn't exactly breaking news I know, but this photo was still out there in cyberspace and I was delighted to find it. The black jumbo ric-rac looks great, doesn't it?
great way to use ric-rac
ReplyDeleteIf I am understanding this right, the individual made a crazy quilt sewed block to block without sashing and sewed ric rac over the seams?
ReplyDeleteHow cool! It lends such a fun wavy look.
Thank you for sharing...I had never seen a picture of the quilt.

ReplyDeleteI love it, what a wonderful idea. I collect rick rack when I find it in the thrifts and yard sales and I love crazy quilting, but not great or patient to do the stitchery;)
