It's Snowing and I'm Sewing - Perfect!
Perfect quilting weather! I just took these photos a minute ago. This is the view from my sewing machine. I've got a nice cup of tea and no place I have to go. Ahh, perfect.
I think any kind of winter weather is perfect quilting weather. we have mostly clear and almost melting here in Winnipeg. snowstorms to the south of us in North Dakota, but not a flake here.
How great. I hope your power stays on. That is something I will never be able to say...it's snowing and I'm sewing. Raining yes, sunny yes, windy yes, cold yes but not snowing. ( guess there is always a first time if a new ice age approaches. )
well this seems to be a weather round-up, so here in Savannah it's 5 p.m, 73 degrees and sunny, with a light breeze, and it was a nice day to do some crocheting out in the lanai,-- but I do admit, I love the way snow looks,
I used to love being snowed in in the village I lived in or rather hamlet still love it in Town as you can see from my website picture of my studio www.antiquequiltsandtextiles.co.uk just dropped in to say Hi Linda

ReplyDeleteWhat a cozy thought. Cold outside and warm inside.
ReplyDeleteHugs!
So, enjoy! Here, spring is coming with great steps, today, we had 13°, but no sun...not so bad for quilting, too ;-)
ReplyDeleteHugs from Martina
I've got a cup of tea also but, there's just cold nasty rain here.
ReplyDeleteWet slush is what we got. Lots of wind though.
ReplyDeleteGreat time to stay in and sew.

ReplyDeleteIt is wet and windy here today, so I will be inside sewing too.
Cold nasty rain here. I actually miss all the snow days we had last year- I spent them sewing! Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteIt's snowing here too, and I did get in some sewing today. Winter as it should be.

just dropped in to say Hi
Linda
You get a winter snow and I was 68* yesterday. Unheard of Ohio in late February. Sewing and snowing are a perfect pair.
