Green Hat with Tentacles!

This Crocheted Ski Mask Hat with Tentacles is the work of knitnutbyJL from SanFrancisco, CA. Hahahaha! That is thinking way out of the box!
Thanks to Nedra of the Cactus Needle blog in AZ for the heads up about this.

  1. That Nedra posts the funniest things! This one really cracked me up when I saw it on her site. I can't imagine wearing something like that in public, or skiing down a mountain! The looks!

  2. OK. That's a creapy hat! However, it does bring back memories of my pig-tail winter hat from the late fifties. I think one of my mom's co-workers made them and she bought one for me. Hmmm.............

  6. This post and yesterday's post make me wonder if you can top that for April Fool's day. Thanks for the smiles.

  7. The green "hat" is, in fact, a Cthulhu mask. A Cthulhu is a creepy character in several H.P. Lovecraft novels. I made a felt version a number of years ago as a Halloween costume for my teenage son. He loved it, but only other teenage boys knew what it was.
