Pin Cushion Grand Finale! Day 5

Vintage ring box pin cushion by Lorri of All Vintage Sewing in Pennsylvania.

Lovely vintage crochet and linen pin cushion by Redesigning Vintage in Jacksonville, Florida.

Pink donut with sprinkles pin cushion (haha!) by Claire from London, England.

From Danamarie Hosler of the Small Craft Advisory in Baltimore, Maryland, here are three little felt pin cushions. She uses all her scraps, and each cushion is different. Should we tell Danamarie about selvages? Haha, I don't know! How many scraps can one person handle?

And finally, a whimsical pin cushion from Victoria Gertenbach of Lancaster, PA. See more of her work at Silly Boodilly on Etsy.

So, do you have a favorite pin cushion from the last 5 days?

  1. I've loved this series - there is a limitless variety of pincushions out there. I loved the "please enter your pin", the vintage toy teapot, the cactuses and the hydrangea ones...thanks so much for sharing.

  3. The donut was cute, I liked the teapot, but I would be afraid of breaking it.

  5. They were all great, but I think my faves were the ones in the baby shoes. I was even looking at baby Converse sneakers when I was out yesterday, thinking I could do one on my own.

  6. I loved all the interesting pincushions! The "Enter your PIN" one was my favorite. The blue teacup with the house on the hill on top was my daughter's favorite. The artist who made that is amazing. We checked out her blog and loved the fabric illustrations she created. Thanks for sharing these!

So have you been able to keep yourself from making a pin cushion?
My fingers are itching from all these adorable pictures.
