Carol's New Sunshine Quilt
Carol Eskola from Florida just finished her version of the Sunshine quilt. Each of the print fabrics was used only one time, so it's a charm quilt. Nice job, Carol!
What a pretty quilt. I so love that man people are makign quilts that have a simple design with just the right touches of emphasis, like the red points. I've become tired of the overly complex designs that I see so often.
Thanks for the compliments Audrey and June! I fell in love with this quilt when I first saw Karen's - I'm so happy I bought the pattern and got it done. It's so much fun to study all the different fabrics from my stash. I'm not sure how I'll be quilting this one Susan - but I'm sure I'll keep it pretty simple. For now I've got it hanging on my design wall while I think about it.
Love that yellow and red surrounded by scraps! Wonderful!

ReplyDeleteI would be interested in hearing how this will be quilted. Still haven't decided how I will quilt mine.
