Wilma Al-Uqdah's Selvage Quilt is a Winner!


"Selvages with Attitude" by Wilma Al-Uqdah of Texas won First Prize and Viewer's Choice at her guild's quilt show this past weekend. It measures 67" x 85." Look at how the turquoise makes the selvages pop. And the border fabric is a brilliant choice too. She still has a big collection of selvages and I suspect she has more selvage quilts in mind. Nice job, Wilma!

    Wilma did a great job and has inspired me to dig into my boxes of selvages. I love the blue colour and also the wonderful border fabric.
