This label was made by Vicki Bellino of Bloom Creek for a quilt she designed using Aunt Grace Classics. The Marcus Brothers blog featured this pretty selvage label (see http://www.marcusbrothers.com/blog/ May 26, 2009 post).
Thank you to Debbie Frey from Logansport, Indiana for the heads up!
Clever! I wish my new printer like fabric. It eats it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea!!!!
ReplyDeleteNow this is the most clever idea ever! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great idea...thanks so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea! Taking selvage pieces from the quilt fabrics to frame the label. Awesome.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of using selvages in a label. Could even use the selvages from every fabric used in the quilt (or the major fabrics).
ReplyDeleteVery clever, and a perfect use of the selvages.
ReplyDeleteOhhhhhhh, I want to make labels like this! I have an Epson large format printer that takes lumpy scrapbook pages through it like a pro. I'll bet it will handle some fabric just fine. I want to find out soon!!
