Moonrise Kingdom is a quirky and delightful movie about Sam and Suzy, two unpopular kids who decide to run away together on the small New England island of New Penzance in the 1960s. When I saw the trailer, I knew this was going to be fun, and I wasn't disappointed. See the trailer.
P.S. This movie has 2 quilts: a wild string quilt and an antique brown-tint half-square triangles quilt.
so excited to see this movie - I have been anxiously awaiting the newest Wes Anderson film. Will be watching for the quilts!
ReplyDeleteWe loved the movie, too. It was filmed in RI, so we recognized a lot of the locations. A few kids we know were in the scout scenes, but we couldn't pick them out. We've been on that rock in the second photo you posted!
