This is a king size custom fan quilt that I made for an Etsy customer.
It's the same method shown in the Ferris Wheel quilt pattern.
Notice how the small fan block in the lower right corner (above) helps the border turn the corner?
How cool is that?

My fan block method uses no foundation, no paper-piecing, and no fancy cutting.
Georgous, the blues are wonderful and the corner blocks -- and small triangles -- work beautifully. What a lot of hours you spent making that quilt!
ReplyDeleteSo very pretty! I especially noticed the small leaves quilted into that dark spiky inner border section. The border shape is ideal for this design, and those leaves just made it pop.
