Pincushion Give Away! And a Virtual Trip to Cape Cod

    My favorite dessert is apple crisp. I love to eat it steaming hot on those cold winter nights. I make it low fat and with whole grains, so it's a nice dessert without too much guilt.

    Those pinsies are so elegant, Karen! I'm not much of a dessert person. I like to go off after the meal and break off a nice piece of 60% or 72% plain Dark Chocolate.

    I have been to Cape Cod. It is a beautiful place! We spent a day at Martha's Vineyard. My favourite dessert is Apple Bavarian Torte. My husband sometimes makes this for me for my birthday.

    It's hard to pick a favorite dessert, but I'll say anything with chocolate.

    Flan. I love a good flan, especially if there is carmelized sugar crystals on the bottom. Yum.
    Many restaurants try to tell you that their creme carmel is just a flan of sorts, but it is just a pudding with toasted/sugared top. Flan is flan and creme carmel is not. :-)

    I love the chip-chip-chip pinsie. :-)

    Mmmm, dessert...!!

    My most-favorite, and one I only get once in a blue moon is

    Pecan Pie with a cup of hot coffee. The two tastes compliment each other because they are sooo different.

    Yum!!

    My favorite dessert is cheesecake plain - no fruit. I have a recipe from my x-husband's aunt, easy to make, and so yummy!

    Love this pincushion especially since it is one of my favorite colors - gray.

    And my favorite dessert is my Cranberry Pecan Blondies. I've been known to just stand in the kitchen and whittle off piece after piece, cuz I just can't stop! lol
