Here's the write-up from back when I had pincushions in my Etsy shop:

I found this little pitcher in an antique shop in Connecticut. It was made in Japan for Lefton's. There's a cherub with grapes and grapevines on the front and the back. Colorful Impressionist painting design on the fabric. Two 3" long removable pinsies have elongated pearls, and glass beads in yellow, turquoise, and clear glass (which looks like ice). Pincushion measures 4" tall x 3.5" wide, handle to spout. It feels nice in your hand because the design is very pronounced and the handle (if you looked at a cross-section) is square, not round.

  2. That is a such a cute pincushion! I always sew alone. I do not know anyone else that sews around me. Even if I did, I think I would prefer to sew alone because I have my own weird way of doing things. :) Thank you for the opportunity to win!

  7. I always sew alone. Even if I take a workshop that has sewing, I don't sew until I get home! Love the pinsies, karen!

  8. I mostly sew alone. It is a pain in the buttinsky to move all my stuff to another location. Like a sew in or such. So I just stay in my very very messy room and sew with the dogs.

  15. I do both - I sew with friens sometimes (monthly meeting of my Sew & Tell circle, sew-ins with my guilds, occasionaly weekend retreats and one or two friends to sew in an evening:) AND I sew alone.

What kind of projects I work on depends on how much schlepping I want/need to do and where I am.

    :) Linda

  17. I usually sew alone - or sometimes with Bonnie Hunter's quilt cam. I am lucky to belong to a great guild that does have a quilt weekend get away. It's lots of fun to quilt with such talented women!

    Thanks for the give away!
