Virtual Field Trip!


Welcome to the new Selvage Blog airplane! We'll start our tour today in New York. Leave a comment below telling where in the world you want to be picked up, and where we should go. I'm thinking the Caribbean. Don't bother to pack, we'll buy new clothes when we get there. We'll relax on the beach and sip pretty beverages. Then we'll quilt. Are you in?

    Georgia isn't too bad right now, but I'd like to be snowed in somewhere for about a week with nothing to do but sew and sip hot cider with friends. Switzerland might be nice. :)

    That Caribbean pictures looks heavenly, I'll go -- pick me up in Cape Cod. It'll be hard to get off the beach to sew, maybe I'll just admire everyone else's creations while I renew my now totally faded tan. What fun it would be to meet quilters from Turkey and Jerusalem and all sorts of other places.

    I am so in! Pick me up in Baton Rouge, LA since I don't want to drive all the way to the New Orleans Airport. Maybe we can go to Thailand and stock up on some batiks.

    While in Istanbul we can see some beautiful silks! Oh yes. Oh, China.........yes!

    Pick me up in Missouri. I love the Caribbean and the drinks with the little umbrellas in them. I will take my battery operated sewing machine with me so I can sew on the beach.
