Visit the Selvage Blog Virtual Headquarters

Please have a seat. Coffee? Tea? Wine? M&M's?
We'll relax, visit and sew. Show & Tell will be in 3 hours.
Please sign the Guest Book (in the Comments)
and tell us what you'll be working on.
I'll go first: I'll be making a string quilt. And I'll have some sauvignon blanc please.

  2. A small sip of White Zinfandel, otherwise I won't be able to sew a straight line. I'm working on Valentine's Day doll quilts for four granddaughters and one great-niece, ages 22 months - 7 years.

  3. I'll take a B&DC. (Bourbon & diet Coke). But, just one, or I won't be able to finish these applique elephants on my nephew's quilt! And, he'll be here next week! He is almost finished baking!

  6. I'll have a juice box and half a cookie -- my granddaughter is coming today. She is 7.

So I need to move my current project, string-piecing new covers for my office chair.

Because she is learning to use the sewing machine. Priceless.

  9. I have set myself a task...I have to finish the dining room chairs slipcovers before I can start the quilt that has been running around in my head for weeks!!!!
Dose not sound to off putting until you realize that I have had the fabric for the slip covers for a year!
Because these chairs are not the same size as any pattern out there I need to make my own. Got the first chair civer made with the actual fabric yesterday and now need to adjust to make the fit better. Then only 5 more to go!

  10. Ha! That pic had me going there for a minute! I thought to myself, wow, the Selvage Blog is really serious business! (That's how gullible I am)
I am working on too many things to list here, but most important is an activity/quiet book for my grandsons, and a mini house quilt for my SIL's beachhouse.

  11. Oh I'd like a cup of tea (need the caffeine to get me going). I started a new project with a bazillion little squares and I need to finish up that Stack and Whack top on the floor.

  13. Tea, and M&M's, please. Mom's been pretty sick, and I'm exhausted so I'll just get comfortable and work on handwork. Thanks for inviting me!

  14. I'm working on getting forty tops made into quilts for charity, and two for me, then four for wounded soldiers. I think I have started way too much without finishing anything. I'm doing pretty well, I finally quilted my huge log cabin top that I finished four years ago. I absolutely will not start anything new until I finish all of these! At least, that's my plan...

Hot tea would be nice! Ooo, and some M&M's. Yummy!

  15. Hot tea will work for me. I'll bring chocolate chip cookies.

I am working on some needle keepers or needle books. I'm making them out of felt. I sew cute little things on them, felt flowers, chickens, owls, sock monkeys
    And more.
