Selvage-Covered Chest of Drawers

Can you believe this awesome selvage-covered chest of drawers?? It was made by Monique from California. Her blog is called Sew Fun by Monique. What beautiful fabrics! Yayyy, Monique!

She says she got the idea for this project while she was in the shower. I get good ideas in the shower too. Where do you get good ideas?

    I get anywhere from one to about a million ideas when I go for my morning walk. Usually first thing when I'm back in the house,I'm looking frantically for paper to write stuff down!!

    Usually in the early morning hours, lying in bed not wanting to get up on a day off! Unfortunately, a lot of them disappear when I do drop off to sleep again.

    Love that, what a fun idea.
    I get ideas when I take hot baths or when I am falling asleep. Quiet and relaxing times when I can close my eyes and envision all the things I want to make.

    What a clever idea,the selvages are a real surprised and the fabric on the drawers is great too.

    Can't add anything new: ideas come when taking walks, in baths and in the middle of the night when insomnia strikes. They also happen when reading other people's blogs.
