Surprise Field Trip!
Quilters, please cancel all your plans for the day. We're taking a trip to the beach. No exceptions.
Come as you are, no need to pack a thing. We have hammocks, towels, bathing suits, delicious lunch. Are you ready?

We are expecting 40 degrees celsius tomorrow, BRING ON THAT BEACH!
Failing that it will be the shopping mall and lots of cold showers:-)

Oh darn, perhaps next time; I'm on way way out of town to meet a friend.
Believe it or not, if I had not had a full day of must-dos, I would have had a nice walk by the sea today, it was that warm around noon (low 60s).
Those colors in that picture would make a fantastic quilt. I loved the day at the beach.
I'm ready with a snorkel and some fins to do some exploring ;-)
