Spoon Art

A new restaurant in Avon, Connecticut called "Dish 'n Dat" has this delightful spoon art a big curved wall. My server said it was fun to watch it under construction. Another example of seeing an ordinary item in an unusual way! I like to see things that fill my creativity tank. :)

Clever and a bit mesmerizing.

Wow talk about accuracy! If one spoon was 1/4" off, well we know what would have happened :-)

Yay, you were there! I only live 5 minutes from there. I went there 2 weeks ago and loved it. I really need to go back and try their weekend breakfast.

I've seen windchime-type decorations made out of silverware too. They look really nice. Sometimes you see silverware for sale cheap - now I'm thinking! Wouldn't that make a cool pantry decoration?

Oh! The horrors of dusting/cleaning that wall!

Holy cow. I look at that and see DUSTCATCHER. That would be fun on a wall outside though. Around a fairy door. Across the front of steps. Across the limb of a tree...
