International Quilt Festival of Ireland! June 2012

Have you heard about the upcoming Quilt Festival? June 7-10 in Galway, Ireland. This looks like it would be a wonderful experience! There's still time if you want to enter a quilt or other quilted item. Photos due very soon. See Exhibit page for particulars.

The pictures are so beautiful! Reminds me of every Maeve Binchy book I've ever read! Ireland is definitely on my bucket list!

What an enticement those pictures are! Oh, for unlimited funds to hop a plane for the interesting and beautifully situated quilt shows.

Beautiful photos! We have been to Ireland several years ago (from New Zealand) and I particularly wanted to see Galway Bay. Why? Because my Dad used to sing that song about Galway Bay to us when we were little.

Love Galway, so friendly and quaint, you can walk to most everything in the town. If you ever get the chance to go to Ireland it is a must see! Even without a quilt show :0)
