See the Movie: Moonrise Kingdom

Moonrise Kingdom is a quirky and delightful movie about Sam and Suzy, two unpopular kids who decide to run away together on the small New England island of New Penzance in the 1960s. When I saw the trailer, I knew this was going to be fun, and I wasn't disappointed. See the trailer.
P.S. This movie has 2 quilts: a wild string quilt and an antique brown-tint half-square triangles quilt.

so excited to see this movie - I have been anxiously awaiting the newest Wes Anderson film. Will be watching for the quilts!

We loved the movie, too. It was filmed in RI, so we recognized a lot of the locations. A few kids we know were in the scout scenes, but we couldn't pick them out. We've been on that rock in the second photo you posted!

It was filmed in RI and I can't believe that my sister in law is in the movie and no one told me;) She got to meet Bruce Willis, I am so jealous, lol.
