World's Widest Selvage!

Diane Rode Schneck, a member of Empire Quilters in NYC brought the world's widest selvage to our last meeting. It's 5 inches wide! Look at the size of those color windows. Under each window is "OK - (Not?) OK." Someone wrote "No" on this selvage. There's even an arrow pointing in the direction of the warp. You wouldn't need many of these babies to make a selvage quilt!

How funny is that? There's nothing in (selvage)-world, that doesn't exist ;-)

Perhaps this one needs to get framed and hang on the wall - quilted or not quilted!

By the time we have an "International Museum of Selvages" hopefully these treasures will still be around!
