I'm sure you know Brenda from the Scraps & Strings blog in Manitoba, Canada. Take a look at these charming selvage tea cozies. I also like her black and white selvage block. It has no printed pattern showing, and hardly any dots. I like how she used that "Dick Jane and Sally" fabric in the middle. I learned how to read using those books. Good memories for me. Nice job, Brenda.

Hi: thanks for the shoutout. Just to reduce expectations, I gave these tea cozies away and I don't have a shop on Etsy. good idea, though!
Hello, is beautiful work.
Yikes! Where did I get the idea that you had an Etsy shop? I'll fix the post. Stay warm up there in Canada!
Karen
Those are fun tea-cozies! I learned how to read with Dick and Jane too.
Hi Karen, I finally completed my first selvage project, but I can't seem to get an email through to you. I just posted about it at http://infantbibliophile.blogspot.com/2010/01/heart-to-heart-back-to-back-valentines.html.
