Trip to Keepsake Quilting in NH

I just made my annual pilgrimage to Keepsake Quilting in Center Harbor, New Hampshire. Look what I saw in town: a Keepsake Quilting truck! I wonder what goodies they're hauling around in that.

This is one of my purchases: a yard of blue fabric designed by Maria Kalinowski for Benartex called "Pool." I think I'll make a pillowcase out of it first. Then it will go into a quilt later, maybe. Or perhaps a bunch of pincushions. Haha. You never know. The price was about $11.50/yard. Yikes!

Wow. I remember being shocked by $9. a yard 7 years ago. One word. Inflation. I do like the fabric, though. Best wishes, Linda

I am hoping to get up there this fall, will hit the stores as we drive up, lol. Love the fabric, would be fun in an art piece.

Fabulous fabric.

Word to the wise if you're really looking for fabric: Here in Hyannis (which is probably as close to you as Keepsake) is a fabric shop called Heartbeat Quilts. Rooms and rooms of fantastic top of the line quilt fabrics. They are going to close in December. At this point they still have a huge inventory and all 30% off. I live a quarter of a mile from them, come say hello and then go shop.

Wow. I thought you were showing us a picture of your new swimming pool! What a great reality fabric!
