Yellow Quilt In the Works

This is what I'm working on this week. The center of the quilt (above) is sewn together, except for the strip on the right. You can see all the spare parts below. Some of the fabrics are directional, so I have to pay attention to which strips go vertically or horizontally. I'm thinking about quilting it by hand with Pearle cotton using a big running stitch in the white areas.
I hope you're finding some time for a little quilting fun in this busy season. Merry Christmas!

Love this design and what a great way to use up scraps. I may have to try this out.

Thanks for the inspiration.

What a great design! I like the contrast of the yellow on the white. The quilting sounds like fun. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Really cute idea. As someone said, this is a great way to use up some of your favorite scraps. Are you following a pattern or just winging it from the design wall?

Just winging it, and writing a pattern as I go along.

Karen, your Christmas wreath with lemons is so pretty, did you make it? What a clever idea!
