I found this photo of Kaffe Fassett in front of a giant quilt on Pinterest. There was no description or link. Does anyone know the story here? Pretty amazing.
UPDATE: Here's some info from Alida:
The picture of Kafe was taken in Leeuwarden in the Netherlands during a quiltexposition in “Het Fries Museum” in 21-03-2008. He is standing in front of the leaning tower “the Oldehove”

Here you can read about this quilt!
kind regards, Meta
A couple of years ago there has been a big quilt exhibition in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands. A quilt shop, Quilt Kabinet in Earnewald in The Netherlands, organized to hang a very big quilt down from the 'Oldenhove' an old tower standing in the centre of Leeuwarden. The quilt was made from only Kaffe Fasset fabric. If I remember correctly they asked their customers to all made a little quilt to later make this big quilt.
During the exhibition you could see a lot of old Dutch Quilts (among many other quilts), a lot of them owned by Ann Moonen. I can mail you some pictures from this exhibition if you want.
Thank you for the info! Pretty amazing!

This quilt and it's story is amazing isn't it? Did you know that after the exhibition they made a lot of quilts out of that big one to give to children who were ill.
Groetjes
