Bo-Kaap

Also known as Cape Malay Quarter, this is in Cape Town, South Africa. Aren't the colors shocking and kind of wonderful? I think I like this! What do you think? Would this get on your nerves after a while?

I like it too! We need more colorful houses, especially here in the gray and dark winter weather.
I would paint mine in yellow. :-)

as long as the inside walls are not the same - I would love the outside to look like this. It revels in the sunshine!

You wouldn't need a cup of coffee to wake up in the morning in this neighborhood, you could just look outside your window, lol. I do like it though.

Sunglasses necessary. I'm a big fan of colorful houses (I so dislike deed restrictions in areas with civic associations and rules)...especially in dull winter places like Ohio. However, I'd need to tone down the shades for everyday viewing.

I LOVE it, and I think exteriors are the best place for colors like this, as opposed to interiors (trust me, I learned this the hard way, lime green craft room, big mistake.)

I think passing this row would make any person happy, every time!

I absolutely love it!!

Could you imagine a couple of row houses in a city like Boston painted like that?!?!?! People would go nuts!

I love that!! Although, I think it might keep me awake at night if I lived across the street.

It's beautiful for sure, but yeah, I'd probably get tired of it. Would make a great piece of art work though.

I think this is OUTSTANDING! I could handle this for sure......this coming from a person who actually has a closet devoid of colour...we are talking black, white and shades of grey........I LOVE colour.just not on me.
