This chair was given new life by Mary Beth. It cost her $5 total! She used beautiful Kaffe selvages and I love that purple paint. Didn't she do a fabulous job? Yayyy, Mary Beth!
Thank you to Jackie of www.cvquiltworks.blogspot.com for telling us about this! The Selvage Blog needs lots of field reporters like Jackie and you to find these things! Keep them coming!

The lavender paint takes it over the top, what a great chair!
Now this makes me want to redo my dining room chairs. Great chair.
Oh I just love this. I want this chair!!!
I just love her rendition!! Off to e-mail her and let her know you have her chair featured!
Thanks, guys! The chair cost me $5 at a yard sale. I had everything else already. I sewed the selvages on a scrap piece of strong curtain lining from another project. I had leftover lavender paint from my 2 year old daughter's bed frame. The chair is for her bedroom (although I sooooo wanted it for my sewing room but she loves it too). She is still excited to go to her room and sit on her chair to play with her dollhouse which is sitting on another yard sale item (table). Yeah!
Love seeing such inspirational ideas on recycling, great job!
Wow! It looks great!
That looks just awesome.
That is just the coolest Mary Beth! Way to salvage with selvage!!!
love that purple chair, it was a good looking chair as it was, but now it's a fantastic looking chair..........love color! great job with all your selvage salvaging!
this makes me think I might look for a chair for my sewing table at a garage sale instead of keeping my eyes open at the stores for a good chair on clearance! just what I needed! Thank you!
