Did you know that there are lots of selvage quilters on flickr? There are two groups that specialize in selvages. Just type "selvage quilts" in the "Find a Group" box, and you'll be able to click on over and visit. Have fun.

Lovely. My mother had a trash can when I was a kid that started life as a five gallon ice cream carton. Magazine pages were rolled into tubes and then glued down the sides, color and beautiful. I'll bet if we did a google of magazine art all kinds of creations would come up.
