New String Quilts! Pattern Too!

This is my latest publication, a 17-page pattern and idea book about string quilts made with rectangular scraps. One of the many designs is shown below. I've made a bunch of these quilts. They're fun because they're fast and easy, and the design possibilities are endless. No measuring, matching etc.

Perfect for new quilters, or for quilters who are new to string quilting. This is what I was working on when Eileen visited on Tuesday. It was easy to talk and sew; no concentration necessary to do this quilt! See "Tracks, Combs and Ladders."

Hi Karen, Congratulations. I will have to look out for this in the shops. I can't email from Myra's computer but I wanted to let your readers know that Myra passed away yesterday after a long battle with cancer. I am very happy that she is now at peace but I miss her like my right arm. We had a true and loyal friendship and I was privileged to be with her when she passed. I'd like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to all those who sent healing hearts to Myra last year. She had not put them together, they are still pinned to the envelopes they were sent in, she adored them and showed them off all the time. So now it is my job to put them together as a memory of my precious friend. May she rest in peace.
