Solar Quilt is Finished!


The Solar Quilt is finished and has been shipped to a collector in San Francisco. These photos were taken just before the top was quilted. The fabrics include solids, hand-dyes, batiks and abstract prints. The quilt measures 65" square. It will be hung on a wall. Now my dh wants one just like it. Haha.

Yes, they are 6" crazy blocks. Eleven up and eleven across.

Love it! Orange is my second best color - red being first. Your quilt is gorgeous! You can feel the warmth of the sun - you've captured the essence of the sun.
