I like the artistic way Elena photographed her quilt, taking it on an angle with the addition of a little oak leaf whimsy. Nice job, Elena!

Really cute! You're inspiring me with all of this cute selvage-ness.
Michelle, when you make something with selvages, email a photo to me at karengriska@selvagequilts.com so we can share it with the world on the Selvage Blog.
I love how the Internet allows us to inspire each other no matter how far away we live. There's a big neighborhood of quilters here in cyberspace! :)
This one is unique! I am off to check my stash for more selvage edges. Michelle you have opened a whole new world for me... Oh dear,LOL, I"m in trouble now.
What a terrific idea.........I did the "Old Maid's Puzzle, Solved, would love to do this one!! Great Job!
Just when I think "That's enough selvage quilting for now," I get another idea to try! Selvage quilting is curiously addictive. It's more fun than you might imagine, so you have been warned! Have fun:)
I love the movement of the block. It is beautiful.
I love this!
How did you put the star together without a lot of bulk right in the middle? I tried the star but the middle stuck up; is there a trick for this star block?
