Eileen's Quilt

Here's a wall quilt that my sister Eileen made. It was inspired by the view of the woods and the white birch trees that she can see from her bed when she's in New Hampshire. (See yesterday's post.) And she's only 10 minutes away from Keepsake Quilting!

I took the sunrise photo below from my bed. Then I went back to sleep. Nature photography the easy way. Haha.

Great haphazard - purposeful piecing. Love the curve suggested in the green section... thanks for sharing.

Neat quilt -- gorgeous sunrise -- life of Riley to wake up, snap that scene and doze off until the coffe's raady.

Eileen's quilt is beautiful, and her pond views are simply breath-taking. Your sunrise photo... gorgeous. I am sure you're appreciating God's glory when you're in a place like that. And I enjoyed seeing that you met a fellow blogger. I too met one last week. I consider this technology a real blessing. Thanks for sharing as you do. Though I don't comment on every post, I'm soaking it in. Thanks!

are you on Lake Winnepesaukee? That view looks very familiar.

Your sister did a great job.
And with a view like that, how do you ever pull yourself out of bed?
