See My New Book! Fat Quarters Giveaway Starts Today! (4 Winners)

My new book is out today! It features eleven fabulous versions of the Stairstep quilt.
It's easy enough for new quilters, but it has design options that will tempt experienced quilters too.
I'm really excited about it!

The book is a pdf, so you get it immediately via email. Print it if you like. Take a look. Then come back and leave a comment. You'll be automatically entered in a random drawing for a package of 4 fat quarters by Kaffe Fasset. Four winners will be announced on Sunday Feb. 5.

If you "Favorite" it, tell your friends, or blog about it, etc., please enter 2 comments.

What a new look to a classic rail block. I like how you updated this pattern. I really love your african wall hanging. A friend just bought me some fabrics from Ghana over the summer & I got some from Senegal that I just cannot wait to get into. I love your art quilts. You have some great works of art.

Dear Karen,
the quilts in your book are really stunning and indeed, easy to realize. So this is a perfect book for beginning quilters, but also the experience ones will learn how to change this quick pattern into a quilt with the "wow-effect" ...thinking of the Zumba and the Steps of Santa Fee ;-)
Hugs to you, dear friend from Martina

Ladydy5 aka: Diane Yates said...

Scrapping, as I call it, is so much fun to do and put into a quilt. Using just any fabric you put your hand on and using selvages or misc. pieces reminds me of what women must have done when they quilted by hand in the 1800's or so.

JoAnne in southern California said...
