Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show

The Sisters, Oregon Outdoor Quilt Show was Saturday. I was in Oregon, but couldn't make it to the quilt show. Rats! It sure looks like it was fun. The photos above are from the "Pack Up the Car" blog. The photos below are from Jan Popa.

Do you wonder why the town is named "Sisters?" It's named for the nearby Three Sisters Mountains, shown below. Isn't it beautiful?

It looks like some beautiful quilts were displayed. One day I'd like to attend in person. Thanks for sharing the photos.

I love Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show. I have gone a few times. I have a friend who lives nearby. I didn't attend this year, but I had a quilt in the show. I was one of the 5 quilt block contest winners last year and made a quilt out the the blocks I won plus my own block. I entered the block contest again this year and I was again thrilled to be one of the winners! So I will be making a quilt to hang in the special exhibit again for next year. I think I will attend the show next year too. In 2015 it will be the show's 40th anniversary!
