"Tea Basket" is the first in a series of scrap quilts made by sewing triangles by eye.
This is the kind of side-project that you can work on now and then as the scraps are accumulated. Or, you can cut little triangles off of everything you have and make tons of these little pretties! Like I did.
The quilt measures 62" x 82."
The lovely machine quilting was done by Maika Christensen of Utah. You can email her at maika@familypieces.com. I recommend her highly.
Yes, I made a pattern for this quilt: Tea Basket.

Another winner by you!
My quilt guild (the Cape Cod Bayberry Quilters) has chosen scrap quilts as the theme for next summer's show. This quilt would fit in so well! I'm keeping my eyes open for new scrappy ideas ... actually in a selvage-way bu this is tempting.
Wonderful idea! This is a really great scrap quilt!
this is so wonderful!!! and the brights against the white make it tea-party delicate. beautiful quilting, too.
