Glamour Damaged

This hilarious "Eclectic Punk" hat is the creation of Julie in the San Francisco Bay area, CA. It's part of her Mohawk series at Glamour Damaged. Julie likes cats, dogs, yarn and coffee. She has a blog too. The pink hair adds a nice touch! Selvages could be added to this recipe!

More funny crochet hats! Love it. Did you see my recent post featuring the green ski mask with tentacles? Where do people come up with these ideas?

OMG this is so cute, reminds me of those biker helmets that have the mohawk on it. Very original. I ♥ it.

LOL!!!Those hats are fricken hilarious sister, I can see allot of young teen boys wearing the masculine version of this hat. I love the mixed colors and fibres in the mane. This picture is going in my scrapbook.
I'm making felt animal cell phone covers for my kids new Tracfone LG800G smart phones which cost me $49.99 and only $5.99 for 40 min/month. Really cheap don't you think.
I use 2 layers of felt and put stuffing inbetween them and then sew the felt together by hand with blanket stitch. I have made a fox and am busy making an owl on the next cover. This is such an easy, fun project that even kids can make it over a weekend.

I showed these to my daughter, a high school teacher. She thought that maybe some teens would like them. I told her that some teens liked to look weird and she said that she really wouldn't know anything about that. I had to laugh, I remember what she looked like as a teen, purple hair and all. Well, she is an artist...
