Anya Tyson's Dear Jane Quilt

This stunning batik Dear Jane quilt was made by Anya Tyson of Wellsboro, PA. It took her 4 years to make this 84" x 84" quilt. It's machine pieced, machine and hand appliqued, and machine quilted. I love this quilt viewed from a distance as a whole, and close up too. A masterpiece!

See Anya's blog: Hills Creek Quilter.

Stunning! Yes, it really needs to be seen on a wall from some feet away, although it would be impossible not to get close and look at all that went into making it. The black border sets it off perfectly.

Thank you, Karen, I'm blushing. And BTW...I was so happy to see your wonderful quilts at the show in person!

I'm always completely humbled when I see a Dear Jane quilt. Wow! This one really caught my eye however because brights are my favorite color palette.

Thanks for sharing!
