Fun With Striped Pine Burrs

Making pine burrs with striped fabric is fun. You can make a ring of horizontal stripe burrs, then flip the next row upside-down and use them as vertical stripes! They are all made exactly the same way.

The pine burr quilt is almost done. I'm quilting it now.

It must be a very heavy quilt. But it is lovely? I can't wait to see how it all turns out.

Goodness, how do you quilt through all those layers? It looks fantastic as a block, will be an amazing quilt.

I quilted mine in between the rows of the circles by lifting up the next folded points. You only have to go through the background fabric. How are you quilting yours?
