Step Two: Add the little squares, WOW!
Step Three: Add more little squares. This quilt amazes me!
Linda Robertus of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia made it in April 2009.
Thank you Linda for taking these photos showing us how you did it.

That IS amazing. It looks like it would be so much more complicated to make than that!
Thanks for showing my quilt here Karen! But actually, you don't add any lines in step 3, just more squares. If you go to the original posting: http://q-linda.blogspot.com/2009/04/new-quilt.html and click on the third photo, you will see there are no lines but just more small squares.
That is pretty cool, but looks quite tedious!
Wow! I agree with Jackie...very tedious but amazing.
Oops! Thank you, Linda. I fixed the post. Now photo #3 says to add more little squares, not lines. This is such an intense optical illusion. And all squares, amazing!
Wow, that's so amazing! My eyes are gone nuts! It's so simple but very effective. Thanks for sharing!
This certainly is an amazing optical illusion. I think it's awesome that so many quilting techniques are fun to create and at the same time look so complicated to make.
