The first photo I saw was of the pastel gold thread cookies and I thought it was embroidery! These are cookies! They are the elegant creation of Amber Spiegel of New York, a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. To see more beautiful cookies visit SweetAmbs, her Etsy store.
Quilt-making is my passion. I love the creative process. Sharing my artwork and the artwork of others on my blogs has become a favorite part of my day.

My husband and I live in the beautiful hills of Litchfield, Connecticut. We have two grown sons: a photographer in Nashville TN, and a glass artist in CT. We enjoy hiking, photography, watching movies, eating pizza, and visiting with family.

Wow!!! Too pretty to eat.
Very-very-very beautiful cookies!
Definitely more elegant than what comes out of my kitchen, lol.
Those are amazingly gorgeous! Such talent!
Amazing is right, these are too pretty to eat,
I agree - too pretty to eat but they would be sweet (pun intended!) at a special tea party.
