As the Twig is Bent, So Grows the Tree
It looks like this tree is doing his happy dance amid his more serious companions. I like how the dusting of snow highlights the shape of this tree. This photo was taken in Connecticut. I see so much more when I look with my camera.
I love trees...big and small...new and old...but especially the old. Wonderful photo. One of my favorite movies is Dr. Seusses' "The Lorax" because he speaks for the trees. Happy New Year. I enjoy visiting often and seeing the very creative selvedge projects.
Wow, I was going to bed an hour ago but I found your blog. That is so awesome. I have got to cut off some selvage's and do a few things. In fact, we have a challenge with our local quilt club coming up and the theme is GO GREEN. What a clever way to use them up in a wallhanging. Karen, you are so clever. I love them all. And I must make the little Xmas trees for my quilting friends next year. I've added you to my blog so I can check on your future projects. this could be my favourite blog!

Ahhh, yes ~ this would be my DH as he handed over the president's gavel for the local woodturning group.
I agree with you ~ I love looking through my camera lens and how it removes so much of the clutter that keeps us from really seeing.
