This is one of the most satisfying books I've read in a long time.Elizabeth Gilbert, (author of "Eat, Pray, Love") has this to say about "Guernsey":

I agree - a favorite book. I actually listened to the book on my ipod. I had a hard time turning it off when I got to work.

I love to read and this book was a joy. Can't remember the last time a book made my eyes well up.

I just finished Olive Kitterage. It's sort of sad, but very satisfying. My husband and I both read it on vacation and it was interesting to talk about.
I loved this book also! The further I got into it, the harder it was to put down!
Keep up the inspiring work with the 'edges' ! I'm still saving mine !
