Painted Porch

No this isn't my porch. It's a Mexican restaurant south of Stockbridge, MA, a very classic New England "white clapboard with black shutters" town. The inside is just as colorful! But from the street, it's just a quiet pale yellow house. Oh, with bright yellow columns. :)

I can imagine my painter asking me, "So, you want everything white?"

"No," I reply, "I'm thinking bright orange, hot pink, electric yellow, and a creamy yellow."

This is just fabulous! Great color scheme for a quilt. Thanks.

Hot pink andorange, Yum, my favourite combination after aqua and lime green.

I think you would have chosen a different, vivid paint color for each column and rafter. (And it looks like you have several insomniac readers!)

I LOVE it!! When we built our house, I told the painter what colors I wanted on the outside and was very specific. He looked at me like I had three heads. You have seen my house and you can't mistake it can you?

Oooh, I love it! I'd love to eat there. And another commenter mentioned great colors for a quilt. I think so too!
